Makeup Forever's Newest Boutique Coming This Week July 19, 2013

This is the newest mascara that MUFE has come out with called Smoky Extravagant ($24 and unveiled at The Makeup Show Chicago in June 2013) and I'm doing a review on it this week and FYI they are having a contest (listed above on picture 7/12-7/19, 2013) but this post is about the newest store addition to MUFE. I received an email this week with an invite to tour MUFE newest freestanding boutique opening up at Garden State Plaza (GSP) in Paramus, NJ. It's the largest mall in the northeast and it's right by my home office. I was so excited since now there will be MUFE and Inglot in the same mall (not to take MUFE shine away from this big deal).

I have made an appointment for a private tour to share with my Glammies that will be on July 18, 2013, the day before the store opens to the public on July 19, 2013. It will be located near Neiman Marcus on the second floor. And from the sounds of it, this store is going to kick ass. I can't wait to share and show you!!!

MAC & RiRi Collection

Since I'm having the giveaway (don't forget to enter) for the RiRi Woo Lipstick, one of my followers asked if there was more to the collection. NEWS! Model For Eve Pearl Women Of Color Event

I was doing my usual web search and looking at stuff online today and came across a status update on facebook. Now this wasn't your normal "Oh I'm having a case of the Mondays" status. This is the Emmy winning Eve Pearl and her team looking for women of color models for an event next week. So, I thought "Oh what the hell"! I meet her at The Makeup Show in May 2010. She is a lovely and sweet person and I got to hold her Emmy. (Picture Below)

I got the info and sent this picture and another from the show and went about my work on the computer. I was hoping they would contact me but I wasn't holding my breather since "I''m no model". Let's me real! lol But to my surprise and excitemen,t they contacted me and chose me. ME!? I will be going into NYC sometime next week and will take as many pictures as I can with Eve Pearl and everyone else and will blog everything about it. I'm so excited! (kid in candy store) 

New Smashbox Cosmetics Products on QVC

Burberry To Launch New Cosmetic Line July 2010

Burberry is launching their new cosmetic line in July at Nordstrom. The line will contain 96 or so pieces and are inspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat. Of course it coming from Burberry, the prices are on the high side. For example lip pencil $24 and foundation for $59. The line includes lip stick that I got to see and have the Burberry plaid design on it. Also on the line is liner, lip gloss, mascara, and bronzer, just to name a few.

It's official! Estee Lauder has add another cosmetic line to they're long list. Drum roll please....... Smashbox Cosmetics that was started by Max Factor's great grandson has been sold to Estee Lauder. The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is one of the world's leaders of skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care products.
