Hairy Wednesday w/ Alterna

Alterna is a new line available at Sephora and I purchase Bamboo Smooth On-The-Go Travel Set 
 to give it a try. Now, as you all know I have very curly coil like hair and it can get a bit frizzy depending on the weather. It's getting warm outside and I was looking for something that would help my wash and wear hair.

I chose this line since it's parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, phthalates, GMOs, and triclosan. They do carry 6 different types of products for different needs Bamboo, Cavier, Hemp, Life, Style Life, and TEN. Bamboo was perfect for my needs. The bamboo has kendi oil and you're like WTH is kendi oil. Well, it's a oil that contains fatty acids for your hair like Omegas 3, 6 & 9 that help repair and fight free radicals. And of course it contains bamboo that known to strengthen your hair and helps make it healthier.


After using these beautiful products for 1 week, what a difference on texture and look of my hair. The frizz completely under control with no weigh down, super soft, nice shine, and smelling delicious. I haven't had a hair cut since November since I get them done back home by my aunt (Chicago) and even my ends look better. I was really surprised with the result and look forward to trying the Shine line. I found this a few weeks ago when I was in between hair color and my hair was looking a bit dull. This is a glossier to help your dull hair have shine and a healthy look to it again. Hairy Wednesday w/ Silk Elements Mixed Silk Nourishing Deep Conditioner

As some of my Glammies may know by now that I'm a natural girl w/ naturally coil curly hair. But the kool thing is I can wear my hair from curly to silky straight w/ blow drying and flat iron. I must say that I have the best of both worlds. With wearing my hair curly I need to deep condition my hair 1x a week to keep my curls soft, moisturized, hydrated.

Directions say to leave on for 3 minutes but I left mine for 20 minutes since I was working while deep condition. Hairy Wednesday w/ John Paul Pet Line & Guest Model Geena Laani

This is our precious dog/daughter and Glam 2 Go mascot Geena Laani A.K.A Nini. She is the princess of the house and Boy does she know it. She's 6 years old and a pure breed Jack Russell Terrier and the most tame one you'll ever meet. Valentine's Day Hairy Wednesday

This week I will be coloring my hair for this weekends Valentine's Day celebration. Plan on going out w/ my Peanut and want to look my best. ;) Now, that I'm getting a bit older and I'm getting a few gray hairs (please keep this a secret). To helps hide these little suckers I've been using Redken hair color in 5M which is a medium brown color. It doesn't dry up my hair like other hair colors have done in the past. My hair is left soft and the color is perfect. It's only available at professional stores or hair salons. Drugstore color I recommend are below.
