Valentine's Day Hairy Wednesday

This week I will be coloring my hair for this weekends Valentine's Day celebration. Plan on going out w/ my Peanut and want to look my best. ;) Now, that I'm getting a bit older and I'm getting a few gray hairs (please keep this a secret). To helps hide these little suckers I've been using Redken hair color in 5M which is a medium brown color. It doesn't dry up my hair like other hair colors have done in the past. My hair is left soft and the color is perfect. It's only available at professional stores or hair salons. Drugstore color I recommend are below.

 I have to say drug store products have come up and are really coming alive in the last 5 years or so. (my opinion) I was surprise and excited to see that Loreal was coming out with a studio line to sell everywhere. I saw the commercial and received a sample card of this product and tried it. After I went straight to the store (Ulta) and purchased.

Now after testing it for a few weeks here are my like and dislikes of this product.

Likes

• Lightweight
• Velvet smooth texture
• Glades on 
• Smooth out skin 
• Helps the appearance of pores and fine lines
• Notice it even out my skin tone a bit
• Leave skin with a nice matte finish 

Dislikes

• Not for combo or oily skin (my opinion)

Overall, I did like the products. Applying it was nice and light. Left my skin feeling soft and the texture is so nice and smooth. My skin just looked better but just apply this all over. It also helped even out my skin tone. Now, I do have combination skin (t-zone shine) and through out the day I had to use blotting paper (clean and clear are my fav) to take the shine away. That was the only down fall of the product, but with that said I would recommend and great for using on it's own.

I kept seeing the commercial for this product and I'm such a sucker for marketing. I went online (Loreal.com) and read about it and saw there was a coupon for it. So, I said what the hell. I'm such a product whore that I can't let this one pass by without trying it. I went on my weekly product shop and picked it up.

It's suitable for all skin types, Dermatologist test, and non comedogenic. It's a silky texture that leaves your skin nice and smooth. Fills in fine line, wrinkles, and pores. You can use it alone or under your makeup. I tried it with and without makeup. Without makeup was perfect and left my skin smooth and looking really nice. With makeup it worked well but by the end of the day ( having combo skin) I was having t-zone shine.

Overall, it's a great product and great price ($10.99 @ Target)
