Review on Zeno Hot Spot Blemish Treament

I was running errands with my lovely 17 year old son (Mikey) a few weeks ago and was on a search for his fav face lotion. After much search we found out they had discontinued making it. So, on the search and running into Harmon Face Value, I saw the Zeno Hot Spot and was always curious about it. I saw the price @$39.99 and thought "What the hell".  You get 80 usage out of it, comes with 2 AA batteries, and comes in blue and pink. Of course, I chose pink.  

I came home and opened the package which was extremely hard to open up! Once I opened and read instructions, it was time to try it out. ZENO HOT SPOT uses gentle heat to destroy the bacteria that causes acne. It's as simple as this:

• Step 1: Press the Power Button. The power indicator will light up and you will hear a tone to signal the treatment has started.
• Step 2: Place and hold the treatment tip on your blemish for the 2 ½ minute treatment cycle. You will hear a single beep every 30 seconds.
• Step 3: Remove ZENO HOT SPOT from the blemish when you hear a multi-tone sound, indicating the treatment is over.
• More blemishes? Repeat as necessary!

I used it on a few spots I had some situations (pimples) going on. Now, you feel some heat coming from it but I didn't find it uncomfortable. My son and my BF on the other hand didn't like the heat and felt it was too hot. After I was done, I went about my business and at the end of the day I did notice my pimples had gone down. Any redness I had was gone. I was pretty impressed with just one use. Now the next day I used it twice in a day and my situations (pimples) were gone but the next day. Wow, this really works and Lord knows I have tried anything and everything out there dealing with adult acne.

Zeno claims this below.

•  90% of blemishes disappeared or faded within 24 hours.
•  96% of blemishes disappeared or faded within 48 hours.
•  84% of blemishes disappeared or faded with only two treatments.

After testing it for 2 weeks I have to say that this product is pretty amazing! I have everyone at home using it and I highly recommend it. Try it and and see if it works for you. :)

I kept seeing the commercial for this product and I'm such a sucker for marketing. I went online (Loreal.com) and read about it and saw there was a coupon for it. So, I said what the hell. I'm such a product whore that I can't let this one pass by without trying it. I went on my weekly product shop and picked it up.

It's suitable for all skin types, Dermatologist test, and non comedogenic. It's a silky texture that leaves your skin nice and smooth. Fills in fine line, wrinkles, and pores. You can use it alone or under your makeup. I tried it with and without makeup. Without makeup was perfect and left my skin smooth and looking really nice. With makeup it worked well but by the end of the day ( having combo skin) I was having t-zone shine.

Overall, it's a great product and great price ($10.99 @ Target)

In the last few months I kept hearing about this cosmetic line called Luxx Cosmetics. It's a new line that is enriched with vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, and doesn't believe in animal testing. They sent me some products to try and I was looking forward to playing with them. I was sent creme blush, eyeshadow, water proof mascara, and lip gloss. It was wrapped in pretty tissue paper, a cosmetic bag, and in a pretty pink bag. Shipping was fast since they are located on the east coast as I am. I ripped the package open and got started on playing and testing it out.

The first thing I tried was the shadow, that's a beautiful deep purple color. The texture is silky smooth and the pigment is amazing. I applied it with primer (Urban Decay Primer Potion) and it lasted all day.

Waterproof Mascara
Next, was the mascara that is waterproof and comes in a tube. The packaging I thought was pretty kool and different. Once I applied the mascara it took a couple of coats to get it how I wanted it. It did stay on all day and was really easy to take off with facial wipes.

Liquid Lips in Red Carpet
The color of this gloss is the perfect shade of red. I applied the gloss and right off the bat, I noticed the smooth and moisturizing texture. After wearing if for a few hours and wiping off, it left my lips nice and soft.

Creme Blush in Flaunt
The creme blush is exactly that. Creamy and perfect! I applied and was shocked of the pigment. The color was just gorgeous and a pretty shade of peachy pink. Easy to apply and stayed on all day. Natural looking and perfect.


My Opinion
Overall, the products I tried were really great. Easy to apply and great colors. The one thing I was not completely satisfied with was the mascara. It was very light and natural looking. I prefer a more fuller look for my lashes. Otherwise, from a 1-10 I would rate Luxx Cosmetics a 9.
